We were infected by the "Ragdoll virus" in 1982 and our first Ragdolls owned us by 1988. In 1990 we had the first Purrific Ragdoll kittens.
Since then we have been breeding Ragdolls on a very small scale. Generally we have one litter per year and sometimes even longer breaks between litters. All our breedings are planned very carefully and the kittens are raised in a loving environment. We guarantee excellent socialization and our aim is to breed healthy, lovable, huggable Ragdolls with type and good size.
Our kittens are born in our bedroom and raised in the family. They are allowed everywhere and love to sleep and play in our bed. Most of our cats enjoy to fetch and continue to do so until old age.

We invite potential owners of our cats and kittens to visit our home and see for themselves how our babies are being raised. We are extra careful to "match" our kittens with their new families for the benefit of both, cats and owners.
Once our kittens are 12 - 16 weeks old we deliver them to their new homes. They all come fully registered, with certified pedigree, all necessary inoculations and with a recent health certificate from our veterinarian.
We joined the oldest German cat association (1. DEKZV e.V./FIFe-member) in 1988, and as a foundation member of the local catgroup we have been actively involved in shows etc. ever since. We are also members of the German Ragdoll association (IG Ragdoll).
We feel it is mandatory for us to belong to the RFCI and RFC Ragdoll organizations in the States. Through these activities we are able to communicate with other Ragdoll breeders around the globe. Almost all Ragdolls we have in our breeding program were imported from the US and were picked personally and hand-carried to Germany.
Our cattery name is the combination of "purr" and "terrific" and suits our Ragdolls, being terrific bundles of joy, very well.
